One Week of Fun!

Our friends the Stevens flew all the way from Cincinnati to see us this week. We had one super fun week with them, and we did a lot, so the next few posts are dedicated to our week with them.
In this photo, we took them to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple Open-house. It was really pretty , but I wouldn't recommend taking a two-year old through because it's hard to really enjoy it. Kaylie really embarrassed me because she yelled out in the sealing room "Mom, I need to poop!" That was lovely. Overall, I'm glad we went.
It's crazy, but this is the 13th Temple in Utah!
The Salt Lake Temple is by far my favorite Temple. Jacob and I were sealed there 3 1/2 years ago. I love going because it reminds me that we can be a family forever.
Cute picture of Kaylie dancing with Jacob in front of the Temple.

We took the Stevens to Temple Square to tour everything and I took a bunch of random pictures of the Temple, just for fun.

Cool shot, but I'm in dire need of a better camera (someday will have the money...I wonder how long I'll be saying that).

Vacation with the Stevens

Mesa Falls.
We had a blast this week because our good friends Justin and Deanna Stevens flew in from Cincinnati to see us for the week. So we took them up to Idaho to see their car and decided to go site seeing. First stop, Mesa Falls. (As you can see Deanna was my pregger buddy on this trip, she's due about the dame time I am, with a boy too.)

This is Tower Falls in Yellowstone, they'd never been to Yellowstone before.
A must-see for new comers, Old Faithful.
We saw a lot of Bison that day they were everywhere. Here are some cute little babies. Shortly after this they started to fight and mom came to break it up, it was cute. These Bison were so close to us that while we were taking pictures the adults were grunting at us for being too close to their babies....needless to say we didn't stay long.

This guy was as big as the car, and all by himself in the middle of nowhere. I also saw another Bison charge a group of girls, luckily they got out of the way but that was a little scary (I've been there a lot and never seen one actually charge.)

Cool picture that Justin took. They forgot their camera, good thing we had ours. In Yellowstone a camera is a must have.

This is our favorite Waterfall in Yellowstone, isn't it pretty? It was our last stop in the park. It is huge...and the pictures just don't do it justice.

If I look a little sick in this picture, it's because I was. I wouldn't recommend going to Yellowstone while eight months pregnant.
Deanna and Justin had a blast at Yellowstone, it was really fun to go with them.

A day at Lagoon

Riding the Carousal, Kaylie use to be terrified of these but she loved it this time. Also I wouldn't recommend riding one while pregnant, it really made me sick.
The whole reason we went to Lagoon, was because Katelyn (my lil sis) had a dance competition there. And apparently none of the pictures of that turned out, here is the best one. They did a really good job though.
Riding on the boat ride with her cousin Lucy, it was fun because these two are the same age and they hardly ever get to see each other, they're so cute together.
Yeah, the not so cute thing about the boat ride was that Kaylie kept scooping up the water and drinking it, yuck! (She has a little obsession with water these days.) All the parents standing around were laughing at her while I was yelling at her not to drink the water. And no, she didn't get sick, thank goodness.
It was really rainy the day we went so we brought lots of umbrellas. And here she is driving Matthew (my lil bro) nuts with hers. Matthew is her absolute favorite person lately.
Riding the helicopter with Matthew and Lucy...these girls love helicopters.
Driving the car with Matthew, Kaylie is just like her dad, she loves to get behind the wheel.

My Big Kid, She did it!

Kaylie did it, she stayed dry for one whole month without any accidents. And it is a huge deal, any mom can understand that. We're so proud of her!
Here she is explaining her little sticker chart. She got to put one sticker on everyday that she stayed dry, and when everyday had a sticker she'd get her precious bike.
So the day she got her last sticker she got her bike, once she showed her chart to daddy, of course. I think she was a little bit in shock when she actually saw her bike.
It's been over a week and she is still way excited about her bike. She keeps asking other kids (an adults for that matter) if they stayed dry too! We're so proud of our Big Kid!

Finally posted an ultrasound of Flamm Baby #2. (This was actually about a month ago.) Funny thing, he has almost exactly the same profile that Kaylie did. This was the best shot we got, this kid is constantly hiding his face with his arms or hands, and he's always on the move, which makes it hard for the Dr. to get almost any shot at all (must be camera shy).
Boy names are really tough, and it's been our challenge this whole pregnancy. But we're pretty much sure that his first name will be Aaron, just because it's the only one that seems to stick. Every other name will last only about a day before we lose interest. Now we only have to come up with a middle name (oh joy).
We're getting really excited for our little addition!

Roses

Kaylie smelling the Roses, I think she loves them as much as I do.
Just for Fun, pictures of the Roses in our yard. I love Spring.
