Who doesn't Love The Reader's Digest?

The other day Kaylie was bored enough that she pulled out The Reader's Digest for a good read. Here she's literally reading to Clifford.
Must be some pretty good stories in this months issue, she read it for about a half hour to me too.

Easter Morning

Yes, I know Easter was almost a month ago , but I figured it's better to post them late rather than not at all. This is Kaylie Easter morning in her Easter dress. Gotta love that she was not in a smiley mood that morning.
Rollin' up her sleeves, because it's way too big. And perhaps the reason that she wasn't very posy was because I spent a lot of time doing her hair.

Gathering eggs on Easter morning was so funny, because when she got up and saw all the eggs she said "Wow! Eggs are everywhere....it's so messy." And the whole time she was picking them up she sang the clean up song.

Just a little excited about the eggs on the couch, she'll use any excuse to jump on the furniture.
Just picking up the eggs that the Easter Bunny left! Two is such a fun age!

A Day of Relaxation

Just laying around relaxing for the day...we painted our toenails. I just loved how she kicked up her feet and grabbed a book while she was waiting for her toes to dry....such a girl.

Just for Fun

A couple weeks ago ( I'm really behind these days) we went to a Children's Museum and Kaylie had a blast, making crafts.

And she loved playing in the playhouse, she made dinner in the kitchen and made dinner forever (probably would have stayed there all day had I let her.) I kept having to get after her for putting all the make food in her mouth, I'm pretty much positive that every kid does....yuck.

But... when we got on the fake helicopter she lost it, she's not really a huge fan of any sort of ride. Funny thing is, this was a stationary helicopter, it just made the noises. I thought it was hilarious so I snapped a photo, she was mad to say the least.

Big Sis!!!

I'm not one for big announcements, so this is how we're telling everyone that we've got another one on the way. It took a long time and so we're all really excited, as you can see by Kaylie's victory dance.

Two Years Old Already???

This weekend we went up to Idaho to go to Chalese's (Jacob's little sister's baptism) and while we were up there we celebrated Kaylie's second Birthday with both the Flamm's and Fluckiger's. The photo above is Kaylie's Birthday cake...it's a Ladybug, in case it wasn't obvious. (It's not perfect, but it took forever to make.)
Kaylie in here pile of presents, this is a Teddy Bear that she got from Jo-Jo, Kaylie loves Teddy Bears.

It's funny how quick kids catch on to opening presents, I actually had to hide them all from her because she found one and just started opening it all by herself.

At the Flamm's celebrating both Kaylie and Brynnlee's 2nd Birthdays. Kaylie got this chair and after opening she decided she needed a break from all the partying.

Okay, bad picture, but with a toddler and candles you don't have a lot of time. This is Kaylie (who is completely cut off) blowing out her candles. (And that's Matthew in the background.)

Dress Up Time!

Kaylie's new thing is dressing up. For Christmas she got lots of dress up with the hopes that she'd stay out of mom's clothes and its worked. The other day she grabbed her angel costume and even shoes (both on wrong feet and different pairs) and her baby and she danced and danced. She kept telling me that she was a pretty princess. P.S. She's not sick in this picture, just dizzy.
Today while I was getting ready Kaylie decided to get herself dressed, she had a hard time deciding what to wear.

You can't see in this picture, but her skirt is on backwards, but at least she matches right?
